Finger Printing Service
We offer FINGERPRINTING SERVICE. You may be required by law to have finger printing on file for certain employers, schools, programs, CCW. We use a computer system known as Livescan. It is inkless contact with a specialized scanner and computer. It will take images of your fingers, finger tips, palms and edge of your hands.
*It is a good tip to hydrate by drinking water and moisturize with lotion a few hours before arriving. This will help your dermal ridges plump up and be easily visible.

* Please wash your hands. Trim your nails. Arrive with good hygiene. We will be inside your personal space bubble and it is for your health and comfort as well as ours. We will physically handle your hands and arms for this process.

What to expect
You will likely enter the lobby and provide your identification. You will sign in. We will ask you to take a seat. Staff will check if you have any current wants or warrants that are arrestable or extraditable. A Detention Officer will ensure the finger printing area is clear of Inmates or other sensitive items, then ask you to follow him to the Livescan machine, which will be located on the first floor near the Patrol offices.. It will take about 5 to 10 minutes to enter your data into the system. Then it will take an additional 10 to 20 minutes to actually collect your finger prints digitally. If your hands are too dry we will have to moisten them. If your hands are too damp we will have to dry them. The scanner is very sensitive. We will ask that you not help us roll your fingers at all. Often it is common to ask you to go limp, and look away. They will create a series of impression including all four fingers pressed, individual fingers pressed, individual fingers rolled, and occasionally, the palms and edges of your hands. Once your completed your finger prints will be digitally submitted or printed or both. You will be escorted out of the facility. Hopefully, you will go on to have a wonderful day.
